FERGIE MENTIONS MILEY IN AN INTERVIEW

Hollyscoop got an exciting chance to speak directly to Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas today, along with Diane Warren, for a live Twitter Q & A to support the launch of Avon Voices.
We asked Fergie how female artists are changing the world of pop music right now, and who in her mind are trailblazers in the industry right now.
Fergie, who said she grew up listening to Joan Jett, told us EXCLUSIVELY, “Women have made an impact on the music industry for years.”
“But,” she added, “It’s not until recently that a lot of female artists are breaking out of the cookie cutter mold.”
She said the days of men running the music biz are long gone.”
“The good ole boys club is over,” she joked.
As for which women are really rocking the radio waves right now, Fergie told us, “Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus.”
“They’re not afraid to put themselves out there,” she said.
