It’s the last Good Projects page of 2010! Miley has supported a lot of different charities and organization this year and all of you on the site have supported her whenever she asked for your help. During this month, remember all the causes Miley got her good on for and continue to support them:
Red Cross and Haiti: After January's earthquake in Haiti, Miley uploaded a video asking people to donate money to the Red Cross' efforts in Haiti. We may not hear about Haiti in the news everyday now, but people there still need help. You can continue to donate money to the Red Cross' efforts, visit RedCross.org for more information.
Make-A-Wish: In April, Miley’s Global Youth Service Day project was a meet and greet with several Make-A-Wish wish recipients. Visit your local Macy’s and write a letter to Santa and put it in the “Believe Station” mailbox. Macy’s will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for each letter you write, up to $1 million dollars.
Blessings in a Backpack: Miley adopted the school district in Hazard, Kentucky, and financially supports the Blessings in a Backpack food program there. Blessings provides weekend food to children on free or reduced lunch programs. During this holiday season, host a backpack drive anddonate them to the program:
City of Hope: In October, Miley asked you to help her “Ink it Pink” to support City of Hope’s breast cancer research efforts. It’s not Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but you can still share the message about breast cancer facts and how women can help reduce their risks factors.
