"I think five and a half years of [the show] is a little bit much for now. I'm excited to move on and get back to film," Osment told TVGuide.com.
The 18-year-old actress, who also just recorded her debut album, Fight or Flight, says she wants to work with some big names: "I would love to work with someone like [American Beauty director and Oscar winner] Sam Mendes."
