All This Success Before 18

Since landing the role in hit Disney channel series Hannah Montana, the success has kept coming for Miley. Entering the famous life at only 12 years old, she has come a very long way. With the overwhelming support from fans, she’s managed to be one of the most successful teenage celebrities – and all before she turns 18.

Her latest album, Can’t Be Tamed, made $700+ in worldwide sales. Her song Party In The U.S.A from the album The Time Of Our Lives is currently her most successful song. It reached the top ten charts in 8 different countries, peaked at number 2 in the Billboard Top 100, and it was the 6th best selling digital song of 2009. It remained in the Billboard’s chart top 10 for 16 consecutive weeks, and remained in the charts for 28 weeks after that. It was also Hollywood Records fastest and best selling single to this day. The single was made triple-platinum by RIAA (Recording Industry Of America) and quadruple-platinumby CRIA (Canadian Recording Industry Association).

With all of this, she still has the great success of 3 other studio albums, Meet Miley Cyrus, Breakoutand The Time Of Our Lives, where she sings as herself. She also has the success of Hannah Montana, with the studio albums where she sings as Hannah.

At the start of this year, The Last Song was released. Worldwide, the film made $89,006,072! When it was released on DVD,1,209,712 units were bought. That’s over a million DVDs! The DVD release brought in $21,980,619.

6 of her music videos are in the top 100 of Most Viewed videos on YouTube.

With all of this, she had 2 tours. In 2007-2008, she had the Best Of Both Worlds tour, with guest stars, the Jonas Brothers. She sang as Hannah, and herself, and the tour was even made into a 3D DVD. In 2009, she had the worldwide sellout Wonder World tour, where she sang as herself. 97% of her shows were complete sell outs, and made $67,159,793. Parts of the tour were also made into a DVD, which was also a great success.

I think it’s safe to say that Miley has achieved a lot of success in her years of being in the lime light, and she deserves every single bit of it! We love you, Miley, and your fans are behind you all the way.
