3 Tips for Stealing Miley Cyrus' Summer Style Read more: http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-style/news/3-tips-for-stealing-miley-cyrus-summer-style-201257#ixzz1zpJz91bs

Whether or not Miley Cyrus' rock 'n' roll, skin-baring style is considered on-trend to the masses, there are lessons to be learned from her effortless summer outfits that look straight from a Coachella-inspired catalog. Below, style experts Ugo Mozie and Daver Campbell, who have worked with Cyrus, Beyonce and Kelly Rowland, lay out how to upgrade a summer wardrobe by taking a cue or two from the Hannah Montana alum.

1. Go for comfort.
"Summer is all about comfort and working to emphasize your best feature," Mozie tells Us Weekly. "For Miley, her favorite feature is her legs, and she takes any chance she gets to showcase her legs in shorts." Petite gals should choose midthigh hems or higher to make legs appear longer; curvy body shapes should seek out cleaner cuts (no cargo pockets!); straight-up-and-down ladies should look to create the illusion of curves with pleats and bold prints.
Another way Cyrus flaunts her bod is in short crop tops, but not everyone is comfortable putting their stomach on full display. "There are ways to accentuate your midriff and make it work for your body type," assures Mozie, who recommends pairing high-waisted shorts with a crop top so only the top of your stomach will show.

2. Don't be afraid of color.
"Pastels and citrus colors are in," says Campbell, "and a great color can make you the center of attention as you walk down the street." Look for separates in colors like lavender and chartreuse and balance them with a print or a solid, or pick a dress in a flattering hue.

3. Use accessories to make an outfit.
"On her casual days, Miley will wear a pair of shorts with a plain tank top and add great accessories," says Campbell. "She loves her bright colorful bags, fluorescent bracelets and great belts." Bright accessories are a subtle way of working eye-popping color into a look if sporting head-to-toe hues feels intimidating. Go for neon statement jewelry or an electric clutch.
