Michael Jackson became the year’s “Most Searched-For Male” after fans took to the internet following his death in 2009. A page in the new edition is devoted to the pop star, who reportedly received eight records over his lifetime for chart achievements, album sales, earnings, and charity donations.
First published in 1955, the Guinness World Records book is published in more than 100 countries and 25 languages and is a regular best-seller, with more than 3 million copies sold annually across the globe.
